Unibet is Now Live in New Jersey
The global online gambling operator Kindred Group has officially gone live in New Jersey under its flagship brand Unibet through a partnership with Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The online gambling group secured a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement with the Boardwalk gaming property last year and can now offer a first-class casino experience to residents in the State of New Jersey.
Currently, online gambling is the state’s fastest-growing gambling sector. According to the most recent statistics provided by the Division of Gaming Enforcement, the sector achieved a whopping revenue growth of 52.4% during the first quarter of the year coming to a total of $141.1 million. The State of New Jersey regulated online gambling and poker in November 2013 and since then the state’s internet gaming industry has generated more than $1.1 billion as of now.
UNIBET will be joining the extremely competitive sports betting market in the Garden State that is dominated by market giants such as FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook. As a debutant in the US market, UNIBET will offer tempting bonuses and promotions to attract players and overtake the fierce competition.
Manuel Stan, the SVP at Kindred US announced via a press release:
“We are thrilled to announce that Kindred can now offer New Jersey customers a truly great gambling experience on a top technology platform in a sustainable, safe and secure environment. We have been preparing for this first and important step very thoroughly for a long time and we are excited to take another step into what will most likely become the largest betting market in the world”

UNIBET Sportsbook in New Jersey To Follow
Since the lifting of the Federal sports betting ban by the country’s Supreme Court in 2018, many of the top online bookmakers have made efforts to be the first within the New Jersey market. UNIBET currently is among the front-runners in line for a fully functional online sportsbook license in the state. Being one of the global leaders in the bookmakers market, we expect from UNIBET to provide nothing less than the best odds, a huge selection of betting opportunities and great live betting and live streaming features for the residents of the Garden State.
UNIBET Plans to Launch in Pennsylvania As Well
Kindred also announced plans to enter the brand new online sports gambling market in Pennsylvania before the 2019 football season with a strategic five-year partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono.
Mohegan Sun, who announced their partnership with Kindred Group earlier this season, hopes to open the new sportsbook in August this year. Once the sportsbook opens up, it will be a permanent bookmaker at the tribal gaming establishment. The casino projected a 1,130-square-foot sportsbook that will feature a 75-person-capacity place next to Molly O’Sheas Pub & Eatery. It’ll also offer a video wall, seven sports betting terminals, and three teller booths.
The Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment vice-president of interactive gaming, Aviram Alroy announced earlier that:
“Introduction of the Kindred offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun as well as the state of Pennsylvania.”
UNIBET Released New Logo
In line with their debut in the US market, Kindred also announced that they have updated their logo in order to reflect the “future of UNIBET”.
The logo was designed and released by the operator’s in-house creative team, which aimed to modernize the classic logo while at the same time “staying true to Unibet’s heritage.”
Elen Barber, the Chief Marketing Officer at Kindred Group concluded that:
“It has been very important for us to safeguard the unique heritage of the Unibet brand during this process. The creative criteria that we set up included a maintained familiarity with a more up to date look and feel. I am really pleased with the result and truly believe that our in-house creative team has succeeded in meeting that criteria.”
