Neon City Festival Lands Marshmello and Fat Joe for F1 Weekend

Downtown Las Vegas has made its opening move for Formula 1 weekend. The Neon City Festival has revealed the first wave of artists booked for its 2026 edition, and the names carry real weight. Fat Joe, Kaskade, Marshmello, Subtronics and The Fray will perform across three days starting November 20. Admission costs nothing.

Five Acts, Three Genres and No Ticket Price

The opening lineup spreads across hip-hop, electronic music and alternative rock. Fat Joe brings decades of chart singles and a catalogue that still fills rooms. Kaskade ranks among the most established names in dance music. Marshmello, meanwhile, has built a global audience measured in billions of streams.

Subtronics handles the heavier bass end of the programme. The Fray covers the 2000s alt-rock corner for anyone who wants melody over drops. Three stages at the Fremont Street Experience will host most of the action. The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center joins the footprint as well.

The Circa Connection Behind the Festival

Derek Stevens created the event and remains one of its main backers. He owns Circa Resort and Casino, Golden Gate and The D, three properties sitting within a short walk of the stages. Circa CEO Jeff Victor leads the project.

That ownership map explains the economics. A free Neon City Festival still generates revenue when the crowd spends the rest of the evening inside nearby casinos, restaurants and bars. Stevens has built a reputation for staging large downtown spectacles, and this one follows the same commercial logic.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Fremont Street Experience and Audacy all work on the production side. LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill described the event as another way for visitors to experience the city during race weekend.

More Than Music on Fremont Street

Organisers plan to fill the space between sets. Local food and drink businesses will trade across the site throughout the weekend. Visual art and interactive attractions round out the programme, so the whole thing works as a full evening rather than a straight concert run.
