The casino announced the win on September 14, right in the middle of its 40th anniversary year. The payout works out to more than 395,000 times the original stake. The resort has kept the lucky player’s name private.

In Ultimate Texas Hold’em, each player goes heads-up against the dealer. Players combine two hole cards with five community cards to build their best five-card hand. The earlier they commit, the bigger they can bet, and players can raise up to four times the Ante before the flop.
