Ultra Mode Puts Wilds Everywhere in Thai Flower Power Play

Some slots ask you to sit back while the reels decide everything. Thai Flower Power Play hands you a dial instead. Blueprint Gaming released it on 22 October 2026 for the UK market, reviving a lotus-themed name that British pubs and bookmakers have carried for over a decade. The difference sits in the stake selector, where three escalating tiers rewrite the rules before the reels move.

The lotus still blooms, the royals still crowd the bottom of the paytable, and the Free Games round still strips the board down to a handful of symbols. How much of that you face depends on what you pay per spin. That one choice carries more weight than any single feature in the game.

Theme and Design

Blueprint keeps the presentation warm and uncluttered. Golden lotus flowers sit against deep temple reds, ornate carvings fill the higher-value positions, and the familiar playing card royals handle everything below them. Anyone who has played a Thai Flower cabinet in a bookmaker will recognise the look instantly.

The audio leans on soft chimes and plucked strings rather than the relentless drum loops running through so many Asian-themed releases. Wins land with a bright ring instead of a fanfare. That restraint pays off, because the real noise in Thai Flower Power Play comes from the stake tiers rather than the artwork.

Gameplay and Mechanics

Ten fixed paylines carry Thai Flower Power Play, and wins form from the left in the traditional way. Stakes start at 10p and climb to £1,000 in the main game, which covers a wide spread of bankrolls before any upgrade enters the picture. Picking a tier multiplies your stake and changes the reel composition at the same time.

That second part matters more than the cost. Standard Power Play doubles your bet and adds the Fortune Wheel. Super Power Play charges five times your stake, pulls the royals off the reels and pushes bonus frequency up. Ultra Power Play asks for ten times the stake and lets Wilds land on all five reels, which sharpens the base game considerably.

Features and Bonus Rounds

Free Games

Three scattered Lotus symbols trigger 10 free games. Only three chosen symbols appear on the reels during the round, so the board clears out and every spin carries real weight. Fewer symbols means fewer ways to miss, and the round builds momentum fast when the right pair lands early.

Standard Power Play

At twice your stake, this tier unlocks the Fortune Wheel. Any win above 5x your bet sends you there, where multipliers of up to 5x wait alongside awards of 8 to 20 free games. It is the cheapest route into the extra layer of Thai Flower Power Play, and it leaves the standard symbol set untouched.

Super Power Play

Five times your stake removes the royals from the reels completely. Bonus frequency rises as a result, and the Fortune Wheel stays available throughout. Clearing out the low-value clutter hands more reel space to symbols worth landing, which lifts the value of an average line in Thai Flower Power Play.

Ultra Power Play

The top tier costs ten times your stake and stacks everything together. Royals stay off the reels, the Fortune Wheel runs at full force, and Wilds become eligible on all five reels rather than a restricted few. That last change gives Ultra its character, because a Wild anywhere on the grid gives every payline a chance.

Gamble

Any win can go into the Gamble for a shot at more. Two pie wheels appear, one offering extra cash and one offering a boosted batch of spins, with rewards escalating on both sides. You choose which wheel to spin, so the decision carries more thought than a red or black coin flip.

RTP, Volatility and Win Potential

Blueprint ships four RTP builds: 90%, 92%, 93% and 94%. Operators pick which one they run, and the gap between the lowest and the highest is wide enough to check in the game information panel before you commit. Nothing on screen announces your version unless you go looking.

The max win sits at 1,200x, a modest figure next to the five-figure ceilings dominating most new releases. It suits the retail roots of Thai Flower Power Play, where steady returns always mattered more than a lottery headline. Blueprint has not published a volatility rating, and the swings shift with your chosen tier anyway, since each one rebuilds the reels around you.

Who Thai Flower Power Play Is For

Players who grew up on the original will find the most to enjoy, because the core game stays faithful and the tiers add options instead of replacing anything. Anyone who likes setting their own risk level gets real value from the three-step structure, since each step changes the maths rather than just the bet size. The 10p entry keeps casual sessions viable too.

Players hunting a monster multiplier should look elsewhere. A 1,200x ceiling and a 90% RTP floor make Thai Flower Power Play a grinder’s game rather than a jackpot chase. The UK-only release also narrows the audience for now, so players outside Britain will have to wait.

Final Thoughts

Blueprint has taken a cabinet favourite and given it a reason to exist online beyond nostalgia. Thai Flower Power Play earns its name because every tier buys a structural change: royals come off, Wilds spread across five reels, and the Fortune Wheel stays live. The lotus theme is pleasant, the Free Games round is clean, and the Gamble adds spice.

Check which RTP build your casino runs, pick the tier your budget can absorb, then let the reels handle the rest. Nobody will call it a reinvention. Thai Flower Power Play is simply the rare remake where the new parts earn their place.
