Leander Games is a name older casino lobbies still carry, which is why we still track Leander Games casinos even though the studio itself changed hands in 2022. It made the Megadeth slot, the cheeky Roman romp Ave Caesar and a long run of five reel video slots, many of them aimed first at Latin American players.
This page lists the open casinos in our database that carry Leander Games, and explains who owns the catalogue today, what the games are like and what to check before you play one.

Leander Games was bought by RAW iGaming, the studio behind the SuperSlice engine, in April 2022. At the time Leander was based in Malta and its platform was live in 13 regulated markets across Europe and South America. Its old website now redirects to RAW Group, and the newest Leander release we could find is Moonlight Wolves, which SlotCatalog dates to September 2022.
If you go looking for fresh news from Leander Games, you will come up almost empty after 2022, and there is a simple reason for it.
In April 2022 RAW iGaming announced that it had bought Leander. RAW was a young studio, founded in March 2021 and built around its SuperSlice engine, and its CEO Tom Wood was open about what attracted him: distribution. Leander, then based in Malta and run by CEO Steven Matsell, had a platform live in 13 regulated markets and an integrated customer base across Europe and South America. Its best known games at the time were Ave Caesar and Alibaba and the Forty Thieves.
That November the Leander platform, LeGa, was renamed RAW Arena. Today both leandergames.com and rawarena.com redirect to rawgroup.com, and the newest Leander title we could find is Moonlight Wolves, which SlotCatalog dates to 1 September 2022.
So think of Leander as a back catalogue rather than a studio with a release schedule. Leander Games casinos still carry the games, but we found no new titles under the Leander name after Moonlight Wolves.

Long before RAW, Leander was an Argentinian company. SoftSwiss places its roots in Argentina, LCB and SlotCatalog both name Buenos Aires, and its founder and early CEO was Ramiro Atucha. The founding year is fuzzier: some sources say 2007, others 2008, so we will not pick a side.
What made early Leander stand out was the Reely series. Reely Poker, Reely Roulette, Reely Bingo and Reely Caribbean Stud Poker paired a video slot with a classic casino game through a side bet, and in 2012 the studio described that side bet as patent pending. Sky Vegas signed up that year and got versions styled for its own brand, which Leander called the first time it had tailored a game’s look for a client.
Intergame also reported that Leander had won a Meister Award for Best Games of 2011. And then there was the band.
In 2011 Leander signed an exclusive worldwide deal to make Megadeth branded games, and the slot that came out of it is still the oddest thing in the catalogue, in a good way. It runs on 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 lines. Vic Rattlehead, the band’s skull mascot, expands as the wild, and scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 open a Mega Wheel that leads to Hangar 18 free spins or the Head Crusher bonus. At launch Leander even described a Multihand Infinite Hold’em bonus that keeps dealing cards for as long as you hold at least two pair. SlotCatalog lists it at 96.97% RTP and medium volatility.

Ave Caesar, released in January 2018, shows the lighter side of the studio: a 5×3, 20 line slot that pokes fun at Julius Caesar, with sticky wilds and two pick me bonuses. SlotCatalog gives it two different RTP figures and two volatility ratings on the same page, which says a lot about how messy old slot data can be.
SlotCatalog counts 102 Leander games, 100 of them video slots, while distributors quote other totals. The release dates of a few well documented titles tell the story better than any total:
| Slot | Released | Layout | What stands out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Megadeth | 2012 | 5×4, 40 lines | Band licence, Mega Wheel bonus |
| Ave Caesar | January 2018 | 5×3, 20 lines | Roman comedy, sticky wilds |
| Fortune Fireworks | July 2019 | 5×3, 10 lines | Cascading reels |
| Kraken Conquest | September 2019 | 5×3, 25 lines | Energy symbol collection |
| Tomb of Mirrors | February 2020 | 5×3, 25 lines | Egyptian tomb, pick objects bonus |
| Moonlight Wolves | September 2022 | 5 reels, 1,024 ways | Sticky wild respins, bonus buy |
Dates are SlotCatalog’s. After Moonlight Wolves we found nothing newer, so what you find at Leander Games casinos today comes from this back catalogue.

Most of the Leander slots we looked up on SlotCatalog are rated high volatility, and the later ones come in several RTP versions. That mix deserves a little care before you spin:
This part is murkier than it should be. LCB says Leander was licensed and regulated in Malta and the United Kingdom, and SlotCatalog lists a UK licence, but neither gives a number, and we could not find a current register entry in Leander’s own name for this page.
The new owner is easier to read. RAW Group’s website lists RAW Operations Limited in Malta with MGA licence MGA/CRP/1020/2023, plus approvals in Sweden, Denmark and Ontario, and a second company, Xterra Holdings, with a Gambling Commission account in Great Britain and an MGA recognition notice. That tells you who stands behind the games today. It does not tell you whether a given Leander slot is approved where you live. The licence that protects you belongs to the casino, so check it at any of the Leander Games casinos you consider.
The list at the top of this page shows the Leander Games casinos in our database that are still open, with closed and blacklisted casinos left out.
SoftSwiss describes Leander’s reach as mostly Latin American, with a number of European casinos on top, and it still lists the studio on its game aggregator. In practice that means Leander usually shows up as a handful of titles in a big lobby, not as a headline studio like the bigger names in our game provider guide.
Before you deposit, read our review of the casino and check four things: that it is licensed in the country where you live, what its withdrawal limits and verification rules look like, which RTP version of the Leander game it runs, and whether Leander slots count towards bonus wagering at all. Smaller back catalogue studios are exactly the kind that get excluded from wagering.

Not as far as we can tell. RAW iGaming bought Leander in April 2022, leandergames.com now redirects to RAW Group, and the newest Leander title we could find is Moonlight Wolves, which SlotCatalog dates to September 2022.
RAW iGaming, now operating as RAW Group, which announced the acquisition in April 2022. Leander’s LeGa platform was renamed RAW Arena later that year.
The studio started in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under founder Ramiro Atucha. By the time of the 2022 sale, press reports described it as based in Malta.
Yes. Leander signed an exclusive deal with the band in 2011. The Megadeth slot runs on 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 lines, with Vic Rattlehead as an expanding wild and Hangar 18 free spins.
LCB says Leander was licensed in Malta and the UK, but we could not confirm a current register entry in its own name. Its owner RAW Group lists an MGA licence and UK, Swedish, Danish and Ontario approvals. Whichever of the Leander Games casinos you pick, check that it is licensed where you live.
It varies by game and by version. SlotCatalog lists Megadeth at 96.97% and Kraken Conquest at 95.96%, while Moonlight Wolves comes in versions from 89.99% to 96.04%. Check the info screen, because Leander Games casinos can run different versions.
Leander is only one corner of a casino lobby, so here is every studio we cover, each with its number of open casinos.
