SmartSoft was founded in 2015 in Tbilisi, Georgia, and is still headquartered there, according to its distributor SoftSwiss. The founders had more than 20 years in iGaming behind them, yet the games only went international in 2019. A year later SmartSoft was named Debutant of the Year at the Login Casino Awards.

Those figures come from the studio’s own press releases, so read them as SmartSoft telling its story. The direction is plain enough, though. This is no longer a small regional supplier.

On the testing side, SoftSwiss lists iTech Labs, eCOGRA and Gaming Associates as certifying SmartSoft games. We did not find a UK Gambling Commission licence in SmartSoft’s name.
JetX hogs the spotlight, so it is easy to miss that SmartSoft makes slots too, along with keno, table and bingo style games.
