A long row of glowing slot cabinets on a dark casino floor with a phone on the bar counter

IGT Casinos

If you have spent any time in land based casinos, you have almost certainly walked past an IGT cabinet. The American giant built its name on slot cabinets, and the IGT casinos in our database carry the online versions of those floor classics: Cleopatra, Wolf Run, Siberian Storm, Kitty Glitter and plenty more.

Past the casino list you can read who owns the company after the 2025 split, where its online slots are licensed, why their RTP is worth a closer look and what to check before you play.

What is IGT known for?

IGT is a Las Vegas based slot maker best known for land based classics that also run online, such as Cleopatra, Wolf Run, Siberian Storm and Kitty Glitter. Since July 2025 its gaming and digital business has been owned by funds managed by Apollo and combined with Everi, while the old lottery company now trades as Brightstar Lottery.

What IGT Casinos Carry From the Casino Floor

Most online studios design for a phone first. IGT works the other way round. Its best known online slots started life as cabinets in land based casinos, and the online versions are built to look like the machines they came from. That is the whole appeal: you open Cleopatra on a laptop and you are back at the cabinet.

The catalogue is big. SlotCatalog lists more than 400 IGT games, the vast majority of them video slots, with a few card games, scratch tickets and roulette titles on the side. Cleopatra went online in 2012 as a 5 reel, 20 line game with free spins and wilds, and it is still one of the four titles SlotCatalog names among the most popular IGT slots, next to Cats, Kitty Glitter and Golden Goddess.

Not every famous name in IGT casinos was designed in house, by the way. Da Vinci Diamonds, for example, came from High 5 Games, a New York studio that designed slots for IGT and saw them go online under the IGT name.

One Name, Two Companies Since July 2025

This is the part that confuses people, so here it is in plain terms. Until 2025 there was one listed company, International Game Technology PLC, with lotteries, slot machines and online games under one roof. Then it split.

Apollo takes gaming and digital

On 1 July 2025, funds managed by Apollo completed their purchase of IGT’s gaming and digital business together with Everi, and combined the two. The new company operates as IGT, is headquartered in Las Vegas and is organised in three units: Gaming, Digital and FinTech. Apollo named Hector Fernandez, formerly chief executive of Aristocrat Gaming, as the incoming CEO.

The lottery side becomes Brightstar

International Game Technology PLC kept the lottery business and now trades as Brightstar Lottery. So the games you find in IGT casinos today come from the Apollo owned company, not from the lottery operator.

Wolf Run, Siberian Storm and the Glitter Cats

Three IGT games show how the company thinks about slots: simple screens, one strong feature and a theme you recognise from across the room.

Wolf Run slot, howling wolf stacked wilds on five reels
Wolf Run, 40 lines on a 5 by 4 grid with stacked wolf wilds.
Siberian Storm slot by IGT, tiger theme on a 3, 4, 5, 4, 3 reel layout
Siberian Storm, a tiger themed winter slot with 720 MultiWay Xtra ways.

Wolf Run went online in 2014. It plays on 5 reels and 4 rows with 40 lines, and its howling wolf wilds come stacked, which is where most of the action is. Three bonus symbols on the middle reels start 5 free spins, and SlotCatalog says they can retrigger all the way to 255. Siberian Storm is the odd one out with its 3, 4, 5, 4, 3 layout and IGT’s MultiWay Xtra system, 720 ways that pay in both directions, with free spins started by five or more tiger’s eye symbols.

Kitty Glitter, a 30 line cat slot, has been a land based favourite for more than 20 years, and in July 2025 Kitty Glitter Grand added a wheel bonus and random wilds. Caesars launched it online and in its Atlantic City casinos at the same time, which the release called IGT’s first simultaneous exclusive launch in the US. If these older, cleaner designs appeal to you, our slots section has plenty more to compare.

IGT Casinos in Regulated Markets, From New Jersey to Britain

IGT puts a lot of weight on regulated markets. In March 2024 the company said its PlayDigital content was live in all seven US states with online casino gaming, after a launch in Rhode Island with Bally’s, and that it was one of only two suppliers to reach all seven. Fortune Coin, Cash Eruption, Cleopatra, Cats and Wolf Run were the games it named.

Cash Eruption, a 2020 fruit and fire goddess slot with 20 lines and a Hold and Win style bonus.

In Britain the paperwork moved with the split. The Gambling Commission register shows that IGT UK Interactive Limited holds an active remote Gambling Software licence, account 64570, in force since 6 September 2024. The licences of International Game Technology PLC, among them a remote casino licence, were surrendered on 8 July 2025.

For players, that regulated focus is the good news. IGT casinos in markets like the UK, Ontario or New Jersey are supervised from both ends, the supplier and the operator. It is also why IGT games may simply not appear in some countries.

IGT Casinos and the Return You Actually Get

Here is the catch with a lot of floor classics. Many of them sit below the 96% that players often use as a rough benchmark, and some exist in more than one RTP version. These are the figures SlotCatalog lists:

Game Layout RTP listed
Cash Eruption 5 reels, 20 lines 96%
Cleopatra 5 reels, 20 lines 95.7%
Wolf Run 5 reels, 40 lines 94.98%
Siberian Storm 720 ways, both directions 94.91%, with versions from 92.52% to 96%
Kitty Glitter 5 reels, 30 lines 94.21%
Cats 5 reels, 30 lines 94%

A point or two of RTP sounds small, but over a long session it adds up. The same game can also run at a different setting in different IGT casinos, so the figure in the table is a starting point, not a promise. Open the help screen of the slot at the casino you actually use and read the number there.

Choosing Between IGT Casinos: Look Past the Pharaoh

The list at the top of this page shows all open IGT casinos in our database, with closed and blacklisted sites left out. A familiar slot is a nice reason to visit a casino, but it says nothing about how that casino treats you.

Questions for the casino, not the slot

Is it licensed in the country where you live? That comes before everything else, and IGT’s own licences do not cover the casino. How fast and how cheaply does it pay out? Our reviews list withdrawal limits, processing times and verification steps.

Which RTP version does it run? Check the help screen, especially for games like Siberian Storm that come in several versions. And if you take a bonus, make sure IGT slots count towards the wagering, and at what rate, because some casinos weight games from different studios differently. For other studios worth a look, start with the game providers we cover.

IGT FAQ

Who owns IGT today?

Funds managed by Apollo. They bought IGT’s gaming and digital business and Everi in a deal completed on 1 July 2025, and the combined company operates as IGT from Las Vegas. The old lottery company now trades as Brightstar Lottery.

Is IGT a licensed provider?

Yes. In Britain, IGT UK Interactive Limited holds an active remote Gambling Software licence from the Gambling Commission, and IGT content is live in all seven US states with online casino gaming. The casino still needs its own licence where you live.

What are the most popular IGT slots?

Cleopatra, Cats, Kitty Glitter and Golden Goddess are the titles SlotCatalog names first, and Wolf Run, Siberian Storm and Cash Eruption are just as easy to find in IGT casinos.

What RTP do IGT slots have?

It varies. SlotCatalog lists Cash Eruption at 96%, Cleopatra at 95.7% and Kitty Glitter at 94.21%, and Siberian Storm comes in versions from 92.52% to 96%. Always check the help screen at your casino.

Is Brightstar Lottery the same company as IGT?

Not any more. Brightstar Lottery is the trading name of International Game Technology PLC, which kept the lottery business. The slots and online games belong to the separate IGT owned by Apollo funds.

Did IGT make Da Vinci Diamonds?

IGT released it, but the game was designed by High 5 Games, which created several hits that ran under the IGT name.
